Assumes a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL) and complete dissolution. Round sensibly; a syringe cannot measure a tenth of a unit. This is arithmetic, not advice: doses come from the research on the specific peptide.
How to use it
Read the milligrams off the vial label. Decide how much bacteriostatic water you will add (2 mL is a common choice for a 5 to 10 mg vial; more water makes each dose a larger, easier volume). Enter the dose you are aiming for in micrograms or milligrams. The calculator returns the concentration, the volume of solution that contains one dose, and that volume as units on an insulin syringe or as a spray count for a metered pump.
Worked example
5 mg vial, 2 mL of water: 2.5 mg per mL, or 2,500 mcg per mL. A 250 mcg dose is 0.1 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe. The vial holds 20 such doses. Change the water to 1 mL and the same dose becomes 5 units, harder to measure accurately; change it to 4 mL and it becomes 20 units.
Nasal spray mode
A metered pump delivers a fixed volume, usually 0.1 mL, so the useful question is how much peptide each spray carries. 10 mg in 10 mL is 1 mg per mL, so each 0.1 mL spray is 100 mcg, and the bottle holds about 100 sprays. If the sprays-per-dose figure is not a whole number, adjust the water volume until it is; you cannot press half a pump. For Semax and Selank the research doses are 250 to 1,000 mcg; FOCUS-01 is pre-made so that one spray per nostril is one dose without any of this.

Calculator questions
Concentration = peptide in the vial divided by the water you add. Volume per dose = your dose divided by that concentration. Units on an insulin syringe = volume in mL multiplied by 100 (for a U-100 syringe). Sprays per dose = volume per dose divided by the pump volume.
Enough that a single dose is a comfortable, accurately measurable volume: usually 10 to 50 units on an insulin syringe, or one to two sprays. For a 5 mg vial, 2 mL is a common choice. More water means larger, easier doses; it does not change the total peptide.
On a standard U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL, so one unit is 0.01 mL. The units are a volume mark, not a peptide amount; the peptide in each unit depends on your concentration.
Bottle volume divided by pump volume. A 10 mL bottle with a 0.1 mL pump is about 100 sprays, less a few for priming and the last millilitre the pump cannot reach.
